If Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf is able to form a government in the center, then the main parties – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan People’s Party – decided to play the role of joint opposition in parliament. The team decided to form two ‘integrated joint strategies’.
Pakistan’s influential daily Dawn said the group agreed on a comprehensive understanding of two cooperation in the first direct meeting between PML-N and PPP leaders on Sunday after the July 25 general election.
PML-AI’s Mushahid Hussain Saeed said that the meeting was held at the residence of former Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Sardar Ayaz Sadique.
The PML-N leader said that it was a very good meeting and you can say that exchange of views. He said the election of 25 July was stolen. Both parties agreed on this.
He said both parties agreed that they should ‘reject the results of the election’ and formulate ‘collective joint opposition strategy’ to accelerate the government headed by Imran Khan from Parliament.
